I am having friends do my hair/makeup and my flowers.

We have picked Walnut Grove at Tierra Rejada Ranch in Moorpark, CA for our ceremony and reception. We had been looking at wedding locations for a while and when we visited Walnut Grove we instantly fell in love. It had the exact look and feel that we were going for. It was very rustic and quiet for being in the city. Both the ceremony and reception sites are outside under a gorgeous walnut grove. The people there were so nice and helpful. We could not have found a more perfect wedding location.

There are so many things to be excited about that it is hard to pick just one. I am most excited to be marrying the man of my dreams and starting the rest of our lives together. I am also excited that we get to celebrate this day with all our friends and family.

I am most nervous about getting everything done and it all coming together. Right now it seems like there is so much to do and not that much time to do it in. Not everything goes perfect on the wedding day and I just have to keep reminding myself of that. There is only so much you can do.

I have always liked the rustic, vineyard, Tuscan look with the old wooden barrels and stone. I did not know how exactly we were going to carry out this theme but then our wedding location fit this perfectly which made it much easier.

We have not hired a wedding coordinator, but are looking into hiring a Day of Coordinator so that we do not have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding.

We have planned our honeymoon and are going on a cruise down the Mexican Riviera. We have even chosen our excursions in the different ports. We are going to swim with dolphins, tour a ranch on horseback and go kayaking in glass bottom kayaks. It is going to be so fun and relaxing! It was actually a cheaper option for us since we live about 30 minutes from the dock and won't have to buy any plane tickets.

I think I have been to every wedding website there is! I love how convenient they are to find vendors and advice. Some of my favorites were the knot for advice and trends, Martha Stewart Weddings for their budget planning tool, and project wedding for reviews from real brides that have worked with the vendors.

Tim has been great with helping plan the wedding. He makes phone calls to vendors and helps me make final decisions. He knows that I am a bit of a control freak when it comes to the wedding so he has been wonderful at going with the flow and keeping me laughing when things get stressful.

Try to enjoy the process. If you stress out about it too much it will just fly by and you will miss so many wonderful moments you could have had. You don't want to look back on this and just think about how horrible it was.

We are choosing not to see each other before the ceremony. I think it builds excitement of seeing each other when walking down the aisle. It makes that moment really special.

Excited, anxious and giddy!
