Our wedding will be held at the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. I chose it because I thought it really possessed all the aspects we want for our wedding. Love the garden, the ballroom, and enjoy how private it is. The extra bonus point is that it will be easy for my vendors to load in and out (silly that I though about it) but I know how important this could be to making the day run smoothly.
It is a space that makes me feel really special. I remember when I coordinated a wedding there 3 years ago and said, "when I get married, it will be here". My dream is coming true.

I'm very excited to get our family and friends together from both mine and Albert’s side. The day wouldn't be as special if we didn't have our friends and family to share it with.

I currently keep a blog about wedding and event planning and on occassions I would post personal information about my own wedding. See this post about "A Wedding Planner Plans Her Wedding"

I'm not really nervous about anything for the wedding day. Guess it still hasn't hit me yet. Well... I am a little nervous that I'll trip down the aisle in heels, but we'll deal with that... if it happens.

The concept for our wedding is a cross between a playful modern tone, fused with our Asian backgrounds. I wanted fun bold colors and found lanterns and parasols that fit perfectly with the comfortable modern feel I was going for and everything else just fell into place.

I have been working on the plan and design of the wedding myself and will bring in my Skybox staff to coordinate the details on our wedding day. This gives me a chance to be part of the planning process but can still be confident in the decisions my staff makes and relieved of the stress of doing everything myself.

We are planning a honeymoon, but I can't tell you where we're going... because I don't even know. My soon to be husband has taken it upon himself to plan the honeymoon and has left me completely in the dark. I'm very excited to see what he has planned and can't wait to find out!

After being in the event and wedding planning industry for 5 years now I have my own collection of resources, so that came in very handy when planning my own. I love reading all the wedding blogs for inspriation...I do that daily.

My fiancé, Albert is helping plan the wedding by doing what every bride wishes her fiancé would do... he's letting me do whatever I want, and staying clear. He's been supportive and that's all that I can ask for!

Have fun! I've seen brides stress over the planning but it's the part I love. Don't get to caught up in the stress of planning because then you'll look at your wedding day as just something you want to get over with. Enjoy the steps it takes to reach that day because once you get there it's really just going to be about you and him.

We will be seeing each before the ceremony. We want to have that moment, just the two of us to relax, let our guests relax, and enjoy the moment right before we become husband and wife.... and then sneak some photos in.

Counting the Days!
