When did you become engaged?
July 13, 2009
When is the big day?
July 31, 2010

Who are the wedding vendors that you have already decided to hire?
Wedding Coordinator: Shana Fu of "East West Event Productions"
Photographer: Ashleigh Taylor
Florist: Cindy Park of "Floral Elements"
DJ: Sandeep Kumar (DJ Sandeep)
Decorations: Arthur Nazaryan of "White Night Design"
Hair and Makeup Artist: Sarah Young of "Young Makeover"

What is your venue and why did you choose it?
Pickwick Gardens is our venue.
We shopped around for a venue in our area that provided us with a possible outdoor wedding on location and a spacious room for the reception. A nicely sized dance floor was also something we were interested in. We came across Pickwick Gardens and after talking to the staff and touring the location we were decided almost immediately that this would be our venue.

What are you most excited about for your wedding day?
I will be a beautiful bride who is going onto another stage in her life.

Is there anything you are nervous about for your wedding day?
I am nervous about crying because of all the emotions I will be feeling that day.

What is your wedding theme or concept going to be? What inspired it?
We don't have any specific theme, but would like the color scheme all to be in Purple and White...

Did you decide to hire a wedding coordinator? Why did you decide this?
Yes. We hired Shana Fu of East West Event Productions because at first we didn't know where to start. She pointed us in the right directions and guided our efforts at each step of the way.

Where are you planning to go for your honeymoon?
We are planning on going to Taiwan for two weeks. We had gone there early in 2010 to finish up some business, but only stayed for six days. We loved it there and would like to finish off the trip we did not get a chance to have the last time we were there. Also, it would be nice to visit some family who live there.

What are some of your favorite wedding planning blogs and tools?
We browsed various websites such as The Knot and Project Wedding, as well as relying on the knowledge and experience of our event planner/wedding coordinator Shana Fu.

Is your husband-to-be helping with the planning? What are his jobs?
We always discussed potential ideas about our wedding. He helped by contacting vendors and helping to settle payments and financial details regarding their services. He is the best!

What is your best advice to brides who are currently planning their wedding?
Even though everything may seem overwhelming at times, just take it one thing at a time. Try to enjoy the moment because it will pass you by in a heartbeat.

Are you planning to see each other before the ceremony for photos? Why or why not?
Yes, because we would like to have our photographs seem like there is a story from start to finish of that day. So there will be a session pre-ceremony where we see each other for the first time.

What are 3 words that describe how you feel right now?
Excited, Nervous, and in Love
