When is the big day?

Who are the wedding vendors that you have already decided to hire?
Photographer - Paige Newton, she is amazing! She makes you feel so comfortable no matter what the setting is and her positive energy is contagious. There is no photographer that could have done a better job : )
Floral Design - Michelle Thompson (The Silver Vase) , I can't think of a person I've met before Michelle that was so passionate about what they do. She puts so much enthusiasm into every thought that she has, but when you actually see a floral design that she's created it's more incredible than you can imagine.
Dress - Maggie Sottero
Caterer - Catering With A Twist , Kassie is awesome to work with she is so accomodating and friendly. The food is amazing and there are so many different options to choose from for our wedding. She is open to anything and her team is great!
Linens - Premiere Party Rentals
Ceremony Music - Angelic Strings
DJ - Blake Hunter (First Class Entertainment)

What is your venue and why did you choose it?
Casa Blanca - We chose this venue because we felt it was unique and exactly what we were looking for. While looking for a venue before we found this one we had a theme we were going for and this beautiful house fit it all. The huge windows that line the entire home are incredible they look out to every view from the two decks on each side of the home to the amazing yard and creek that flows through the backyard. The owners of the home are the sweetest people and you can feel the love they put into this venue by the landscaping that surrounds the entire property which they do themselves. We wanted a place that was different and would represent us as a couple and Casa Blanca was it.
Plus it was the only place we both agreed on : ) no, it's truly gorgeous and I can't wait until we're married there!

What are you most excited about for your wedding day?
There are so many things to be excited for, but I keep picturing myself walking down the aisle and looking at Jesse the whole time and seeing the expression on his face. So I guess that would be it. However, I ALSO can't wait for our first kiss and our first dance those are going to be pretty amazing as well.

Is there anything you are nervous about for your wedding day?
haha ... I'm just nervous I'm going to spill something on my dress. I expect SOMETHING to go wrong, but I'm in love and I'll be surrounded by all our friends and family soooo I'm not going to have much to complain about that day : )

What is your wedding theme or concept going to be? What inspired it?
I love vintage but Jesse is more mysterious. Trying to come up with a theme for something you have always imagined is harder than I thought for sure. It's hard to mix the two so to TRY and describe our theme I would go with vintage gothic? There are certain trends in both that we're going to blend together and hope it turns out beautiful!!!!

Did you decide to hire a wedding coordinator? Why did you decide this?
I didn't hire a wedding planner, partly because of my budget but mostly because I felt like this wedding was one of the most important things I would ever do and I wanted to feel accomplished once it was over, to know that I put my whole heart into it. I wanted to be a part of every aspect of the planning and get the experience that I never plan on having again.

What are some of your favorite wedding planning blogs and tools?
The only wedding tools I've really used were a budget planner online and my planner. My daily planner has been my bible for the last 6 months it's pretty sad but it helps more than anything especially if you like to procrastinate or have a horrible memory.

Is your husband-to-be helping with the planning? What are his jobs?
My fiance, he's just looking cute throughout the whole process : )
He's been so supportive and patient with everything he's the reason I'm happy at the end of the day.

What is your best advice to brides who are currently planning their wedding?
When you're planning your wedding and it gets to the point where you're stressed out, stop. Take a couple hours or a day and just stop planning. It's not supposed to be a stressful process it's supposed to be enjoyable. You're going to have so many great ideas and see so many things that you would like to do, but if you think about it too much and get confused that's when it becomes not fun anymore. Planning your wedding should ALWAYS be fun!!!

Are you planning to see each other before the ceremony for photos? Why or why not?
No way! I'm lame and superstitious, I think it's bad luck ;)
I think that I want my true expression to come out in the photos the first time we see each other when we're husband and wife.

What are 3 words that describe how you feel right now?
Excited, busy, exhausted
