When did you become engaged?

When is the big day?

Who are the wedding vendors that you have already decided to hire?
FOOD
Royal Fig - With food being a rather important piece of the wedding puzzle, we've chosen Royal Fig as our caterer. They blew us away at the tasting by serving us every single item we had selected on our brunch menu! How cool is it that we tasted our wedding meal in advance?! Doing things a bit unconventionally by having a morning wedding allowed us to indulge in our favorite breakfast dishes... eggs benedict, french toast & bacon, quiche lorraine, and beverages like bloody marys *my personal favorite drink no matter what time of day it is* and mimosas of course! My mouth is watering to taste everything again.
PHOTOS
Jenny DeMarco Photography - Jenny is by far one of the most talented photographers in Austin. We loved the way our engagement shots turned out and I can't wait to see her work her magic at the wedding. She's brilliant and so fun and easy going. Highly recommended ya'll!
MUSIC
Continental Graffiti
Bagpipes for all Occasions, Pipe Major Nick Classen
James Anderson on violin
What is your venue and why did you choose it?
We're getting married at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs, Texas.
As if the breathtaking scenic drive wasn't enough with wildflower meadows, old barns, and waterfalls over Onion Creek, the minute we stepped foot in Whit Hanks' new venue on his hill country property, we knew it was one of the most architecturally unique places in Central Texas. With both Andrew and my background in architecture and design, we drooled over the chapel, originally built in 1880s, and the open air pavilion, originally built in the late 1930s in Vietnam.
What are you most excited about for your wedding day?
Becoming a wife to the most brilliant and sexy man I've ever known.
Is there anything you are nervous about for your wedding day?
Nothing, we're ready for the party!!
What is your wedding theme or concept going to be? What inspired it?
We don't have a theme so much but I would say everything is leaning toward fresh Texas summer.
Did you decide to hire a wedding coordinator? Why did you decide this?
Our wedding coordinator is Alisha Anderson with Dripping Springs Party Rental. She knows the area like the back of her hand and works closely with Camp Lucy so that's been a huge relief.

Where are you planning to go for your honeymoon?
The honeymoon is booked and Andrew intended for it to be a total surprise... however accidentally the other night he let Mexico slip!
What are some of your favorite wedding planning blogs and tools?
Three words, "Get A Connie!" My mother is absolutely hands down the best planning tool you could ever invest it.
Is your husband-to-be helping with the planning? What are his jobs?
Andrew was the registering extraordinaire. He must have read reviews on every single product he put on our registry, it was amazing. And he's got fabulous taste, so lucky me!!
What is your best advice to brides who are currently planning their wedding?
HAVE FUN!
Are you planning to see each other before the ceremony for photos? Why or why not?
We plan to see each other before the ceremony for all of our photos due to the light. With our ceremony at 10:30, if we were to wait to take pictures the light would be quite harsh. So we opted for a pre-wedding shoot.
What are 3 words that describe how you feel right now?
Absolutely 100% thrilled.
