Blu Bungalow® in collaboration with Lovely Little Details is launching the Save the Date wedding planning workshop series.
These workshops will cover a variety of wedding planning topics taught by Blu Bungalow members and wedding planning experts to help engaged couples plan their big day.
Blu Bungalow® and Lovely Little Details will host each workshop to assist engaged couples in planning and celebrating their wedding. Workshop topics include Wedding Floral 101, Styling a Stunning Engagement Shoot, Bridal Boot Camp, Sex & Marriage, DIY Embossed Menus, Pre-Wedding Diets, Wedding Video 101, Grooms Night Out, Crafting DIY and more.
The Save the Date wedding planning workshop series begins March 14th with “Why Your Wedding Diet Is Setting You Up To Fail” hosted by Sarah Jenks, from The Breathtaking Bride. Each workshop will be held at Blu Bungalow, located at 2068 Union Street, San Francisco, Calif., from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. The Save the Date wedding planning workshop series is scheduled for the second and fourth Wednesday of each month through December 2012.
Registration for the Save the Date wedding planning workshop series can be found on the Blu Bungalow Events website (http://blubungalow.com/#/events-savethedate-posh-pack/). Each workshop costs $15.00, however the “Posh Pack” offers the opportunity to purchase multiple workshops at a discounted price.

Highlights of the Event to Look Forward To!: AniA Collection, Portland Art Institute host CHOICE, a bridal runway show, April 25
AniA Collection and the Art Institute of Portland are proud to host CHOICE, a high-fashion bridal runway show at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Portland Art Museum.
Special guest Leanne Marshall, former Portlander and winner of Project Runway Season 5, will make a special appearance to showcase her bridal line.
Marshall will also present Karina Reed, student designer from the Art Institute and winner of AniA’s gown design contest, with a $1,000 scholarship from AniA Collection. Reed’s winning gown, The Ross Island Bridge, will be revealed as part of the show’s finale. AniA helped Reed bring her dress to life by providing the fabrics and pairing her with local designer Jennifer Phillips, owner of “Nicole Couture.”
Five themed runway shows are the focus of the event. The event details will be styled and decorated by popular Portland wedding designers and vendors. Two types of tickets are available for this event:
1) Seated Admission for $20. This ticket is an early entrance ticket that allows guests to meet the vendors who created the tablescapes, enjoy delicious appetizers, wine and champagne, and buys guests a seat at a table to enjoy the runway show. Guests will also receive a goodie bag.
2) Runway Show Only Admission for $10. This ticket is for the runway show. Guests will enter at 7 p.m. to enjoy the runway show and the presentation of the Art Institute gown from the ballroom floor, not from the seated tables.
