2010 Favorite DIY Detail

Sometimes adding a little DIY to your wedding can really personalize your day.  We love how these brides worked together with their vendors to create a DIY look:

Krista and Ben considered their wedding to be a 'personal art project' and worked together with Photos By Theo to make sure their work would be remembered forever.

Becky and Matt chose a gorgeous fabric pattern and incorporated that throughout all the elements of their Anthropologie themed wedding.  Fleur Chicago helped create pretty petals to go along with it :)

Becky and Matt's Chicago WeddingBernadette and Chase had their wedding at a private residence and used their surroundings to come up with a darling rustic look.  They collected their own jars and then worked with Christine's Flowers Inc to fill them with beautiful flowers.

Bernadette and Chase' Springville WeddingPortland couple Christy and Kyle were very dedicated to making sure their wedding reflected them as a couple.  Mixing both modern and vintage elements ... Christy even made her own bridal bouquet out of vintage brooches!  They found a great venue, The Cleaners, that acted as a blank canvas for all their creative plans.

Christy and Kyle's Portland WeddingLiz and Corey were married at David Hill Winery and their family came together to help them achieve the look they wanted.  They designed a gorgeous dessert table and then filled it with treats from Michelle's Custom Cakery.

Liz and Corey's Portland WeddingMegan and Bill were married in Columbia and their efforts really impressed us!!  Megan folded 1000 origami cranes to include in their wedding decor.  Rosewood Florist designed flowers to match :)

Megan and Bill's Columbia WeddingIs there anything more southern than cotton and spiked sweet tea?  Sarah and Steve sure didn't think so :)  We love the story of Sarah's sister picking all the cotton that was used in their Atlanta wedding.  Birch Blooms did an incredible job of designing flowers to match.
