A San Jose Wedding at Willow Heights Mansion
If you are a sucker for linens with a paisley design, charcoal grey details, pops of citrus orange, and peacock blue … then you are gonna LOVE this:
Heather Scharf, who is based out of San Francisco was our wonderful photographer. She was referred to us from by Peter’s sister, who was familiar with her work. It was such a great experience to have Heather be a part of our special day. Not only was she professional and friendly, but we are SO pleased with the end results. The pictures are fantastic, and will be enjoyed for the rest of our lives!
We actually didn’t even know about our venue until the day before we saw it for the first time. We live in San Diego, and wanted to get married in the Bay Area. This meant we had to plan a ton of venue appointments to view and choose our place in a very short time period. Once we arrived in the Bay Area to look, a good friend of ours, Wendy Mann, mentioned Willow Heights Mansion. It wasn’t in the ideal area we wanted, but we thought we would check it out anyway. Man, were we blown away. It was beautiful, romantic, and set away from the hustle and bustle of the world, which made it seem more personal. We couldn’t be more pleased to have chosen Willow Heights Mansion. It was simply amazing!
Soulflower Floral Designwas our wedding florist. We LOVED the flowers. They truly blew us away. To this day people still talk about how beautiful they were. They were so easy to work with, and when I had a last minute change of heart, they were there to fix the problem with no issues. Great job!
We wanted a romantic, whimsical feel to our wedding. We had lots of lights with pops of color and had paisley linens. It was easy to set the stage at our beautiful reception at Willow Heights Mansion in Morgan Hill, California.
At first you want it to be perfect, but as the planning goes on you just want it to all work out. Be open to change, and every chance you get, take all the help you can get. It’s your wedding, one of the biggest days of your lives. Enjoy the day, but most important, enjoy each other. The day is about the two of you, and really, nothing else should matter :)
