An Orange County Wedding Coordinated by A Good Affair
If you love pink, ombre, sparkly chandeliers hanging over the ceremony, lanterns, and gorgeous fashion … then this is thee wedding for you! The paper flowers at the ceremony are overkill … in the best possible way. This bride had two beyond beautiful dresses … one that reminds me of Gwen Stefani’s wedding dress … pretty in pink! I absolutely love this venue: Seven-Degrees … so any Orange County brides take notice! This could be the inspiration you’ve been waiting for!
Our wedding theme and concept was Ombre Pink with an Edge, with decor and monograms that hinted Paris (where we were going for our honeymoon)
As the bride, I’ve always dreamed that my wedding would be a blanket of pearly white with shades of pink. This of course, was probably almost every other girl’s dream wedding. To make it more customized and personal, my planner Natalie Good of A Good Affair and I brainstormed and decided to add a gun-metal grey as it would give us the ‘edgy vibe’ we were looking for. As for the shades of pink, Natalie thought it would be cool to do an ombre of pinks – which I matched with an Ombre Pink banquet gown that was absolutely perfect!
Natalie Good with A Good Affair was our wedding coordinator. To start off our wedding planning, I dragged Arthur with me to 10 pre-selected planner interviews that I had set up as I was browsing planners online. Natalie was the first to respond when I called each and every one of them, and she also happened to be the first one we interviewed. To put it short, we should have just gone with her after the interview instead of wasting our time with all the rest! Natalie is an amazing listener and so talented with the random shenanigans of a wedding. She was able to do my florals and come up with the beautiful decor throughout our wedding. There were so many instances where she saved our day and just took that weight off of our shoulders – a definite problem solver and extremely reliable to make sure any bride gets exactly what she wants in her wedding. Couldn’t thank her more for what she has done for us!
7 Degrees in Laguna Beach was our amazing wedding venue. First I must thank my planner again for really listening to us and from her experience, she knew exactly which venue she wanted to show us first. When we first stepped foot into 7 Degrees, Arthur and I immediately knew that’s exactly where we wanted our wedding. Everything from the awesome tech features in the banquet room, to the beautiful rooftop scene, the venue was everything we wanted. Huge pluses were that you could still feel the ocean breeze on a summer day without paying the premium of being on a beach, and they offer this really cute picture op when the bride and groom exits off into the night with sparklers for everyone to cheer with! It was pretty spectacular.
John Robert Woods was our photographer. This was an easy decision for us. John is one of our close friend’s brother! We tried him out for our engagement photos and loved him! And as you can see from our pictures, we love him even more now and would highly recommend him to anyone who has a wedding coming! :)
Take a moment during your big day and just take it all in. All of your hard work, amounted to this wonderful day, and even though you guys are probably running around making sure everyone has been greeted, you will have this one moment just to yourselves. I can still remember my moment… everything else was just a blur!
