A Cleveland Ohio Wedding Coordinated by Shi-Shi Events

My concept for our wedding was classy, simple and timeless. I live in black clothes, so even though I wore an ivory gown, I added a little black to feel more 'me.'
Our wedding coordinator, Gina referred us to Z Media. They are a husband and wife that started their own company and they have a very efficient team. They made a great first impression when we met them for coffee. They photographed our engagement photo shoot also.
On the day of the wedding, they did same day editing so that our ceremony pictures were streaming on a screen at the reception. I don't even know how they took so many photos of us because I never seemed to see them the day-of! ... which is a good thing!
We hired Gina Jokilehto-Schigel from Shi-Shi Events. She was absolutely fabulous! She has any and every connection to vendors and knows all the best places to look for anything from venues, or in my case candy props! She is extremely creative and won't hesitate to go the extra mile to get anything done.
Plain and simple, our wedding wouldn't have been as magical without her! She is worth every penny, and then some!
Our florist was Vase To Vase in Lakewood, Ohio. I absolutely LOVED them. I had no idea what I wanted, and they were patient with me while I did a process of elimination. I did a variety of all white flowers, with Calla Lillies as my main choice. And then they used their creative genius to make 3-4 size variations of beautiful and elegant centerpieces. They have an eye for flowers, that's for sure!
Also, just an extra that made me love them even more... I am an avid dog lover, and it made me feel right at home that the gentlemen at Vase to Vase had their little pug at work with them. He was well behaved, and stayed in his bed. Maybe it's silly to say, but I guess dog people like fellow dog people!
Our cake was designed by White Flower Cake Shoppe in Beachwood, Ohio. It was a round 6 tiered, black and white cake with accents of silver bling! We had fresh Calla Lillies as the topper and on a middle tier a 'blinged out letter P' for our last name. They took my horrible mess of a description and turned it into a beautiful cake that felt very me! It was a white cake with chocolate ganache and raspberry preserves.
My best advice, is to hire Gina (a wedding coordinator). I couldn't imagine doing it without her!
