A Los Angeles Wedding at Pacific Palms Resort

A Los Angeles Wedding at Pacific Palms Resort coordinated by Jeannie of Details Details Wedding and Event Planning

The details of this Los Angeles wedding remind me of this Chanel inspired wedding shoot we featured!  I love the use of pearls {incredible and unique!}, the shades of pink and peach, and their incredible wedding cake!  This wedding was coordinated by Los Angeles wedding coordinator Jeannie of Details Details ... someone I absolutely adore :)  Enjoy the photographs by wedding photography company extraordinaire John and Joseph Photography Inc.

We worked with Details Details - Jeannie Savage.  O-M-G, I still cannot put words together to describe how amazing Jeannie is. She has been so amazing. She was like my "to go to" person during my wedding planning process. I'm considered to be extremely picky and detailed and she was that one person I could trust in making decisions for me. She knew exactly what I wanted from the beginning, even when I didn't even know what I wanted!! She was on the dot with everything. She helped me with everything and anything! From flowers, stationery, decor, dress, shoes, bridesmaids dresses and their shoes, cakes, programs, band, music, lighting, just everything. I cannot thank her enough for lifting all that weight off my shoulders.
On the day of the wedding Jeannie and her assistants from Details Details were on schedule and did everything step by step according to the timeline. Everything went smoothly, we didn't have anything to worry about.
Not only is her work amazing but I also love her personality, honesty, style, sense of humor. She was so much fun to work and be around with. She is absolutely amazing.  Hands down the best.

Gina: My best moments.. wow have too many of them!! The day went by so fast and I enjoyed every second of it. I had a lot of fun with my bridesmaids while we were getting our hair and makeup done in our suite. We were just eating, talking and just doing girl stuff.
The 'first look' was the most exciting time of the day. I just couldn't wait until I showed Tony what I looked like!! I'm horrible at hiding anything from him and I've been waiting too long to show him my dress!!
The ceremony, reception, paebaek ceremony (Korean tea ceremony) was more than words. That's when I realized - all the hard work was all very worth it.
The best part of it all was when we exchanged our vows and said our 'I do's.' I just got my happily ever after.

Tony: The best time for me is when I heard the words: "Husband and Wife" I knew at that moment that there was no need to be nervous but to enjoy the rest of the day with my beautiful wife. I was stunned to see how everything turned out so nice. Gina's hard work had finally turned into this amazing wedding.

We worked with John & Joseph Photography Inc. We absolutely loved working with Joey.
Our wedding planner Jeannie Savage had recommended us to him. We did some research and just loved his work. We love his style, he takes pictures according to lighting and following the "natural sunlight".  All his pictures come out great and it still amazes me. He is so gifted and talented. Aside from his incredible work, he is also so much fun to work with and made us feel very comfortable. Which for us is the perfect mixture.

We wanted our wedding to be classy, elegant and at the same time romantic.  Ivory, cream and all the neutral colors brought out "classy" and at the same time navy blue brought out the "elegance" we also incorporated peach, blush, some lace and a lot of pearls which brought out a touch of romance.
A lot of weddings we've been to seemed to all follow a similar theme. So we wanted to have a wedding that was just different.

In the process of wedding planning, there are so many things to do - down to the last little detail. This can be very stressful and sometimes we get so caught up that we forget the purpose of this wedding. Always remember the purpose of your wedding, it will make things easier. You are finally getting your happily ever after. So have fun, enjoy and try to remember every step of the way that moments make memories!!

We chose Pacific Palms Resort in Industry Hills because we wanted to have our wedding in a place were we could have both the ceremony and reception in one place. We wanted an outside wedding that had a nice view and also wanted the reception to have an elegant feel.  We also wanted our wedding to be a good driving distance for all of our guests.

Our ceremony had a beautiful view of the city right behind the gazebo. It was also very exclusive from the golfers and such. This ceremony area was on top of the hill, it was very exclusive. We also had golf carts that escorted our guests from the parking lot to the gazebo and then from the gazebo to the reception.
Pacific Palms has 3 reception areas. We picked out the "Majestic Ballroom" which was the most grand. With 4 huge crystal chandeliers hanging. We were looking for a square shaped reception room (which surprisingly is hard to find). This ballroom gave us a feel of elegance as soon as we entered.

Bloom Box was our florist. We absolutely loved working with Fayaz. He was very sweet and fun - with very good taste! He was also very helpful in providing everything that we needed.
The bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, mother bouquets, all the boutonnieres, all the centerpieces, head table, escort card table, cake table everything was provided by Bloom Box. Fayaz also elegantly draped the gazebo with a soft white chiffon and hung a crystal chandelier in the center. Just exactly the way we wanted.

We did our cakes with Kayla's Kakes.  She is the sweetest and down to earth person we've ever met. Our actual wedding cake was fake (except for the cake cutting section) it was four tall tiers. All fondant with sugar flowers all over the cake and with lots of big pearls in different sizes- all made out of sugar. The cake also had sections with lace (also made out of sugar) which was an idea taken out from our menu cards and invitations. We used creams, ivory, light and dark peach and blush.
Separately we had made individual cakes for all of our guests. We made the individual cake to look like the actual cake. The individual cake was all fondant with sugar flowers, pearls and pieces of lace as well. It was delicious!! It was 3 layers of chocolate velvet with strawberry cream. We also provided individual boxes for the guests that wished to take it home.
