A Los Angeles Wedding at the Westlake Village Inn with Pink Details

This Los Angeles wedding is so gorgeous! Filled with pure romance ... and tell us if we're wrong, but doesn't Megan remind you a bit of Taylor Swift?? We have always loved this Los Angeles wedding venue ... the ceremony site they offer is insanely beautiful and dreamy. Enjoy!

Our venue site was a no brainer, my mother actually told us about it because she saw it on the internet. When we visited the Westlake Village Inn, we instantly feel in love and didn't need to look any further. It was stunning, it catered, it came with a hands-on coordinator, it was near our home town, and it was a beautiful and comfortable inn that our guests could stay at.

We chose Danielle of Danielle Capito Photography as our photographer, and we love her! My best friend and maid of honor met Danielle while working another wedding. When we told our MOH that we were looking into photographers, she threw her name at us and we checked out Danielle's website and booked her that same hour. Her photos are classic, vibrant, and artsy. We must have gone on Danielle's website a million plus times, we could not stop staring at her beautiful photos! We were so excited to have booked her. She was so hands on and professional, every question and concern that we emailed her was answered within the hour. She was a blessing to work with, and she will definitely be our family photographer in the future.

Megan: My best moment was our first kiss. It was so heartfelt and anticipated. As we kissed, the DJ played one of my favorite songs "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. It felt like I was in a movie, and as we walked hand in hand back down the aisle I saw my parents crying of happiness. It was perfect.
Steve: My best moment is when we were walking down the aisle after we kissed and became official husband and wife.

The concept we were going for was pure romance. Soft delicate details with classic warm colors. We first got inspired when we saw our wedding venue. Our reception site was stunning; panoramic views above a lake, crystal sconces, ivory walls, and six grand chandeliers dripping with crystals, it sang romance. We wanted to play off of the beautiful venue and so our style born.

The Westlake Village Inn catered our event, and the food was sublime. We had a cucumber wrapped champagne salad, a raspberry intermiso, and our entrees were to die for: roasted chicken with mushrooms, filet mignon with smoked cheese, and a portobella mushroom stuffed pastry. Our guests couldn't get enough and continued to talk about the food for weeks after the wedding.

I hired my MOH and BFF Candiss from All Dolled Up. I knew since we were little she would do my wedding makeup and of course she was more than happy to do so. She gave me a soft warm color pallet. Soft pink lips with smokey eyes. I felt gorgeous. My hairstylist was Piper from Salon Piper, she is the only person I trust with my hair, so that was a no brainer. She came to my room early to make sure we had plenty of time for my curls to sit. I had a loose beachy side pony tail look and it was too perfect. I was so happy when my look was finished and came together. Those girls are amazing and highly recommended.

Have fun and relax, all the stress you had before the big day....just let it go. It is what it is and stressing will only damper your big day. If it's out of your control, let it be out of your control and just roll with it. Cherish every moment because it goes by so fast. And kiss your husband as many times as you can that day, it's all about the two of you, don't lose sight of that.

We decided to go with cupcakes instead of the traditional wedding cake, and we were so happy with the end results. We used Nadia Cakes. If you haven't tired their cakes you are not living! To die for! It was the biggest hit at our wedding according to guests. We had lemon, strawberry, carrot, chocolate peanut butter, and oreo cream. They were all decorated with sugar flowers and edible pearls and stood beautifully on a tiered stand. On the highest tier we had a 4 inch cake that was covered in a pillowed fondant and topped with sugar flowers. It was beautiful, simple, and most importantly delicious!

Those cupcakes are divine! I love the bride's gown, particularly next to those bridesmaids dresses.
What a beautiful, romantic wedding. Gorgeous bride!!
Nadia cupcakes are the best, smart choice! Beautiful wedding congrats!
What a romantic wedding, indeed! I am using blush, peach, and gold as my wedding colors in the exact same ways you did! I love your white trees and crystal center pieces and am considering placing them at every other table (alternating with low floral center pieces). I'm wondering how to recreate this exact look! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
