A Los Angeles Wedding with Pinwheels

We chose Kelly Freedman as our photographer because.....well....not only are her photos gorgeous, but she was one of my best friends in college. And what better way to spend your wedding day than with someone you've know for a long time who can not only enjoy the experience, but make everyone around her feel relaxed. She got some crazy amazing photos of us girls getting ready....and a shot of Jeremy and I under a rose arch that people still don't believe was real.

Our florist was Susan from The English Garden in Westlake Village. I found many great reviews for her online, and was extremely happy after our first (and only) meeting. With our limited budget we decided to just have bouquets and boutonnieres and that was about it. But Susan didn't make us feel that our flowers would end up looking cheap. She understood the simple yet playful vibe we were going for, and not only helped us with the flowers, but helped us secure potted wheatgrass for the tables that we could decorate on our own.
She also understood that I wanted a "wow-factor" bouquet, and got me exactly what I was looking for. The most lush and beautiful bunch of raspberry peonies! Everyone loved them! I even kept them in my fridge for the week following the wedding so I could look at them again and again.

For us, the Westlake Village Inn was a pretty easy choice. With all of Jeremy's family coming from the East Coast, we wanted them to be able to stay close to the venue. But the fact that Westlake Village Inn is a hotel and an event space was perfect for us. The grounds are gorgeous and we knew the outdoor ceremony spot would fit the bill for our fun ceremony. People were able to come into town on Friday and not have to move their cars the whole weekend....they loved it!
