A Portland Oregon Wedding Coordinated by Soiree

When this wedding was submitted, the first thing that grabbed me were the chandeliers dripping in flowers, candles, and sparkly bits ... stunning, right?  Then I saw the gorgeous color palette of gold, light pink, and navy blue and the beautiful venues and was smitten right away.  Jessica and Tom had a beautiful wedding in Portland, Oregon .. We chose Altura Studio for our wedding photographer. We really felt that John and Theresa understood our vision for our wedding and were invested in giving us the best photos. John and Theresa were responsive, thoughtful and fun to work with. Looking at the photos on their blog really showcased their talent and after meeting with them we knew we wanted them! Their photos are the best!

Tom and I chose St. Mary's Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception as the venue for our ceremony site for many reasons. St. Mary's has been my long-time family parish and we have attended mass regularly there for many years. The Cathedral is breathtakingly beautiful - so many of our guests that hadn't seen the Cathedral commented on its beauty. As a bonus, the colors of the Cathedral really complemented the colors we chose for our wedding - golds, off-whites and deep blues. The Cathedral also features beautiful stained glass and a grand alter. The Cathedral is closely located to our reception site - that made it easy for our guests (especially those from out of town) to find their way.

Our reception was held at the Multnomah Athletic Club in the Grand Ballroom. Fortunate to be a member, I was able to have a great reception here. The MAC has great facilities and easy parking guests. The event staff was helpful in my planning process and the chef at the MAC is outstanding!
