You are a planning bride. You are buying all the books. You are subscribing to the best magazines. You are constantly on your computer looking at the top wedding blogs. Pinning has become your second job. Your wedding coordinator is on speed dial. You are a planning bride!! We wanted to give you something that we feel is so helpful: advice from our fabulous featured couples. They have walked down the aisle, they have said 'we do', and they have partied like crazy at their reception. Then, when all the craziness calmed and they returned from their honeymoons, they whispered to us their 'best advice' ... and we're passing it on to you :) Today we have chosen to share the advice from Veronica, Jeanae, and Erin. Tune in next week for the next 3 brides who will share their wedding day tips!
From Veronica and Walker:
The most rewarding part of the whole planning process was all the personal details we put into the design of the big day. I advise you to make your wedding as personal as you can - it will mean more.
Be true to your personality and the experience you want your guests to have. We wanted the whole day to be a celebration of the rest of our lives. We wanted people to walk away saying, "That was so much fun." And we were able to accomplish that. Choose the few things that are really important to you, like the photographer and DJ were to us, and then go from there. Be flexible on the other details and remember to have fun.
Our biggest piece of advice is to start planning early! We discovered that planning a June wedding in October was not too soon - everything books up quickly. Stay organized but don’t stress about the small details, they will all be worked out and everything will be perfect!
