Certifiably Beautiful - A Giveaway!
Out with the old...

**UPDATE: This contest is now closed, however the certificates can still be purchased through Wiley Valentine!
God bless the officiants. {truly} They come, they create beautiful ceremonies, they guide you through your legal paperwork and get it in the mail for you. And because these are some of the sweetest people on earth, they will generally bring two documents. The boring legal marriage certificate and a second "fancy" marriage certificate. The one, slight issue with the "fancy" certificate... It generally ends up looking like this:
Not the most frame-able thing in the world... Well, rather than lament over the look of the certificates, Heather and I decided to team up with our friends at Wiley Valentine to beg the question: If your save the dates, invitations, escort cards, and programs are all impeccibly designed, coordinated, and totally you... shouldn't your wedding certificate be too?
Behold the new wave of wedding certificates. Custom designed and beyond gorgeous. Knock your officiant's socks off when you ask him or her to sign one of these instead.

Pretty, huh? What's that? You want one? Did I hear you correctly....? Well, OK! Tell us what you think of customized certificates here on this post and also on Wiley Valentine's post about it and one lucky commenter will win their choice of certificate! These beauties are valued at $125 and of course will have their certificates customized in the names, dates, and also the colors! Printed on cotton paper, they're tree free and Eco-chic. Because it's one of your first new family heirlooms, the inks are archival so it'll be just as beautiful on your 50th anniversary. We'll be choosing a winner this Friday :) Happy commenting!

Oh! These are so pretty!
I would love to hang this in our home! They are just so beautiful!
Oh, these are so beautiful! As I have been researching ideas and inspirations for my wedding I have been struck by the gorgeous and intricate Ketubah designs. Since I am not religious I have wondered how to incorporate some of their beautiful artwork into a marriage certificate. These designs definitely fit the bill of what I've been desiring! And I love the eco design with cotton paper. That completely encapsulates the green motivation Jason and I have been planning on wedding with!
Oh my, those are so gorgeous! I was just recently lamenting how we have no proper certificate worth displaying, and I would absolutely love this! Wiley Valentine is my fave :)
Wow, these are gorgeous...college and university diploma makers should take a cue from you: these are so elegant and chic, very worthy for displaying proudly. My favorite one is the yellow and black in the middle. Very lovely! Can't wait to see more.
These are stunning! Who knew that you didn't have to walk away with the standard boring!
I love them! They are absolutely beautiful. I think the last one is my favorite but my fiancee would prefer one of the other two.
These are so unique! I love it. Marriage certificates should be beautiful; wonerful idea!
STUNNING!! I'd love this in my home in a lovely frame!
Oh, how lovely! I've been scouring the net looking at "alternative" marriage certificates, but all of them seem to say "holy matrimony" on them. We aren't religious and these are simply perfect! The first one is my favorite :)
Wow.. So much nicer. Those are beautiful!!
These are absolutely exquisite! Brides and grooms spend so much time in making sure their other stationery is beautiful, so why not the marriage certificate which sticks around for a lot longer than the invitations! :) Thanks for co-hosting this contest!
Oh, how amazing is this???? I loved all the templates, can't decide witch one I like it better!!!
I love how beautiful these are! I was in a friend's wedding and her wedding certificate was so gaudy and tacky and that seems to be all you find for them. Or plain and boring.
Absolutely gorgeous! When planning a wedding, we're exposed to sooo many different options, and you've thought of the one thing no one else does! You've thought of one of the most important elements and made it into something beautiful that can be looked back on for many, many years as a cherished keepsake.
These are gorgeous. I've been looking online for something similar without any luck. Thank you!
Wow. I had no idea you didn't have to have standardized certificates These are gorgeous!
How gorgeous! I absolutely love the middle one. I'd started looking for ketubahs, but they're all so dang expensive! My fiance was actually planning on drawing it, but one of these would mean one less thing to DIY. :-)
Thank you!
Oh Lord, these are ABSOLUTELY breathtaking!
My favorite is the second one! I would love to have that framed on the wall (my walls are bare at the moment) with an antique style frame. It would either go in the office or master bedroom. I think these marriage certificates are ingenious, glamorous, and a lovely keepsake. Thank you for giving us readers a chance to depart from the plain and ordinary into a world of whimsical loveliness!
Beautiful typography! This would look lovely in my home. :)
These are Amazing! I know my marriage license is stored away somewhere, but this brings a whole new meaning to the idea of a marriage license. It becomes something not only to cherish and put away, but something to Display! One of the best features...beyond the beauty is it's eco-friendliness! I am a strong believer in being eco-friendly and this captures the essence of chic while being a plus for the environment. Well Done!
Oh I love them! They are so fancy yet understated. And I love that they are printed on cotton. I know my fiance will love them too!! I am posting on the Wiley V blog as well!
I am getting married in August and I have been constantly thinking about how to do something different than a traditional guest book. My idea is to make or have made for me a marriage certificate as beautiful as these that everyone can sign as witnesses to our marriage. I'd love to win a certificate that like these that had lines at the bottom for signatures of everyone who will be at our wedding! Please pick me!
This is the best idea ever! Gorgeous!
