Emerald - Pantone 2013 Color of the Year
Last night I was desperately trying to find my son's Hulk action figure so that he'd go to bed willingly and it reminded me that I have totally spaced on blogging something I was so excited about!!! Pantone's 2013 color of the year Emerald! ... also, why is it that no matter how badly a child wants a certain toy at the time, the minute you find it they change their mind and want Spiderman? ... But, srsly all Hulk jokes aside, I truly am SO excited about the color being Emerald for 2013. I love bold, elegant, and sparkly colors - the color Emerald totally fits the bill. I feel some really beautiful, elegant, ballroom weddings coming on that will use this color in 2013 and that makes my heart go pitter-patter :) Perhaps this color is a little hint from Pantone that the 'rustic wedding movement' (as pretty as they are!) is about to be over.
