When did you become engaged?
November 14, 2009
When is the big day?
October 2, 2010

Who are the wedding vendors that you have already decided to hire?
Walnut Grove at Tierra Rejada Ranch- wedding venue
Command Performance- catering
Beard Papa's- dessert station
Catherine Cindy Leo- wedding planner
Youkeun Oh- photographer
Studio 205 Films- videographer
Commerce Flowers- florist
Angie Pham- make-up artist
Prokreation Productions- entertainment
DG Event- photobooth
Luna Party Rentals- chiavari chairs

What is your venue and why did you choose it?
Daniel first discovered Tierra Rejada Ranch through the internet. We were looking for an outdoor venue that exhibited our theme of rustic elegance, somewhere naturesque and distant from the city for everyone to enjoy. We fell in love with this venue at first sight. It's a small, cozy and beautiful walnut grove in the middle of nowhere. :)

What are you most excited about for your wedding day?
I'm excited to see all the details of our wedding from the year of planning come together. Even more, I'm excited to see all my closest friends and family members in one place to celebrate our big day together.

Is there anything you are nervous about for your wedding day?
There are so many different emotions that go on in a wedding. I'm nervous that I'll cry through the whole wedding! Now that won't make nice pictures...

What is your wedding theme or concept going to be? What inspired it?
You will see in our wedding details that there are several little themes going on. Overall, I would say the main theme in our decor and venue is rustic elegance. I'm a fan of Anthropologie and everything in that store and that is part of what inspired this concept for myself.

Did you decide to hire a wedding coordinator? Why did you decide this?
Daniel and I knew from the beginning that with our busy schedules as well as my clueless-ness about wedding planning, we would need the help of a great wedding coordinator. Thanks to our wonderful planner Catherine Cindy Leo, it's been smooth sailing so far!

Where are you planning to go for your honeymoon?
We will be taking off to the islands of Bora Bora and Moorea after the wedding! Daniel has booked us a wonderful 11-night honeymoon package, and we are both very excited for this much needed vacation.

What are some of your favorite wedding planning blogs and tools?
To be honest, our greatest and most helpful resource has been Catherine, our wedding planner. She is definitely my favorite. :) I have also utilized wedding magazines and blogs like Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, Clover & Bee Wedding, and of course Style Unveiled to help create my wedding inspiration board.

Is your husband-to-be helping with the planning? What are his jobs?
I feel very lucky to have a fiance who has been very involved in the wedding planning. I am quite an indecisive person so everyone knows I needed that extra help from Daniel! He also took care of the whole honeymoon and was excited to take on the job of deciding our dishes with our catering vendor.

What is your best advice to brides who are currently planning their wedding?
If you don't have the time to plan the entire wedding, hire a knowledgeable wedding planner. It is probably the best investment Daniel and I have made. Also, don't forget to take the time to de-stress and relax with your fiance. There are a lot of stresses that come with wedding preparation overall, and it can definitely put a strain on your relationship with your fiance if you don't make it a priority to continue your date nights and relax!

Are you planning to see each other before the ceremony for photos? Why or why not?
Sure! For one thing, I'm a pretty practical person and I think it's the best time before the ceremony to take care of a lot of your pictures with the wedding party and your groom-to-be. Second, I think it's still special since we have the "first glance" pictures where Daniel will see me in my wedding dress for the first time.

What are 3 words that describe how you feel right now?
Excited, anxious, hopeful!
