Southern Tea Party Wedding Inspiration

Wedding Cupcake Inspiration

Who wants to attend a Southern Tea Party??  Me me me!!!  This styled shoot, which was executed by a Dallas, Fort Worth wedding team, made a Southern Tea Party look deliciously darling.  I love the cupcakes, I love the vintage rentals from Rent My Dust, and the paper pretties from Southern Fried Paper are delightful.  Thank you to Couture Events by Lottie for dreaming up this shoot and then for submitting it to us so we could share it :)

PS. The model, Jennifer, is a real bride!!!!  Isn't she gorgeous?!?

Here is a write up about the shoot:

I met the Pearson’s several months back and fell in love with their home. Set in the historic district of down Grapevine, I just knew it would be the perfect location for a whimsical concept shoot. Designed by Couture Events by Lottie and photographed by Catie Ronquillo, the setting was envisioned for a high class tea party with a southern twist. A Texan Marie Antoinette feel if you will. :) The backdrop adorned with a vintage, turquoise Shasta camper, and sweet details such as hankies strung as a banner, old hat boxes, chandeliers hanging amongst the trees and floating paper flowers in hanging frames.  The attention to detail was exquisite, from the lovely broaches fastened to the linen napkins, vintage piano music sheets to the wonderful signage provided by Southern Fried Paper. The fabulous treats consisted of cake balls, petit fours, whoopee pies and mini cupcakes. And don’t fail to notice that fabulous vintage stove provided by the lovely Rent My Dust.

I love the sweetness of this style, the possibilities are limitless! I have a lot of brides looking for the vintage modern combination and I have so much fun creating unique bridal gowns, accessories and bouquets for them. Every bride is different and brings their own style into the mix. This shoot is very inspiring!
