Thanksgiving Romance Shoot Inspired by Pinterest

What are you thankful for this year?  2011 has been a really great year for us, and we hope the same is true for all of our readers.  We were so touched by this 'Thanksgiving Fall Romance Shoot' that our dear friend Melissa Schollaert shot and were especially touched by the words (below) from her clients...

"When Nathan and I were talking about taking some pictures of our little family, Melissa Schollaert's name was the first thing to come to mind! As a makeup artist, I've had the luck to collaborate with Mel on other projects and it's been such a joy to get to know her better (while admiring the heck out of her gorgeous work!). 

We were over the moon when she agreed to take some shots of us for the holidays, and the resulting gratitude made us think about the wonderful people we have in our lives, and how thankful we are for each and every one - and that was the beginning of our gratitude shoot!

I grabbed a lot of printables from Pinterest (seriously, how great is Pinterest?) and we created a paper chain listing all the things we're grateful for in life. Some were major (the moment we said our wedding vows), some not so major (Nate is grateful for our dishwasher, I'm grateful for our soaking tub), but they're all a part of the life we love and have built together. 

The entire experience was a sweet way to look back on all of the incredible (and challenging) things we've done in 2011 - and it made us so excited to celebrate the holidays at the end of this stupendous year!

We have our pups, we have each other, and we have wonderful friends. It feels good to feel grateful."
