It's been said that love is a chemical reaction - a magic moment in the brain.  If that's the case, then today's wedding inspiration is doubly romantic as photographer Nicole Chan pulls from science to make the case!  She rounded up a Boston based crew of wedding professionals {listed in entirety below} to play with some key visual elements of popular science and combine them to create a wedding look that's very smart ;)

If after you take in everything below, you are left wanting more science wedding ideas, you can check out this real wedding!

The inspiration for this science shoot was the brainchild of Nicole Chan of Nicole Chan Photography who saw the need to channel her inner geek and cater to the trendy science nerds out there. With Boston being the hub for the bio and chemistry field, it would only be ideal to create an awesome portfolio piece to inspire engaged couples alike. Upon being presented with this challenge, Myriam Michel of M&M Elite Planning went to work researching and weaving together all the pieces. The color palette of grey, teal and yellow was Myriam's inspiration and it went from there. Set against the bank of the Charles River, the Museum of Science's Washburn Pavillion was the perfect backdrop. The Periodic Table provided by Brocade Blackbird was strung on fishing wire and metal washers. With the gentle breeze of the river, the Periodic Table seemed to wave with the colors peeking through. Floral Art Designs were able to create a series of high and low arrangements that provided visual interest along with funky glasses filled with colored water. The wedding dress by La Reine Bridal was displayed to appeal to the bride who wants a dramatic statement gown. In keeping with the "science" theme, the Scentsational Soaps' gyclerin soap contained the theme colors and the other details included handmade lava lamps, beacons and rock candy. Who can forget the beautiful supple linens and tableware? Rentals Unlimited' luxury silver linen and geometric shaped glassware and plates fit perfectly with the theme. Our favorite part? The "equation" cut out with the bride and groom! How cute was that shot? We truly had talented wedding pros collaborating together to make this editorial piece what it is and we appreciate everyone's input and effort!
